How To Hear Your Intuition When It Speaks Softly
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Intuition isn’t usually a lightning bolt. Most of the time it’s a quiet, steady knowing that keeps pointing you back to what’s honest, grounded, and true for you. We talk about why so many of us second-guess that inner voice, how we’re conditioned to look outside ourselves for validation, and what it takes to rebuild spiritual self-trust from the inside out.
We share a simple, practical way to start: practice on small decisions first. What do you need to eat today? What kind of rest would actually restore you? Does that “yes” feel open or does that “no” feel like relief? Those everyday choices become your training ground for intuition development, so when bigger crossroads show up like relationships, jobs, or major moves, you have a stronger foundation to stand on.
We also explore embodied intuition and how your guidance may show up as sensations in specific parts of your body. We walk through a “best and highest good” check you can use in real time, plus a perspective shift that makes self-trust feel safer: trusting yourself doesn’t mean you’ll never make a mistake. It means you honor what you know with the information you have, learn from experience, and keep building a clearer connection to your higher self and soul guidance.
If you want stronger spiritual discernment, more grounded confidence, and clearer decision-making, listen now, then subscribe, share this with a friend who’s stuck in overthinking, and leave a review with the body signal that tells you “yes.”

What Intuition Actually Feels Like
Practice Trust With Small Choices
Find Where Your Body Says Yes
Mistakes Do Not Break Self-Trust
Stop Outsourcing Your Inner Truth
SPEAKER_00Welcome back to the Spiritual Spotlight series. Quick tips. Today I'm going to want to talk to you about something that sounds super, super simple, but it's actually one of the most important parts of spiritual growth, and that's learning how to trust yourself spiritually. A lot of people think that intuition is supposed to feel dramatic. They might expect a loud voice, like, hello, listen to me, a lightning bolt or a huge sign that tells them this is what you need to do. But in real life, intuition is often much quieter than that. It can feel like a very calm knowing, it can feel like a gentle pull. It can feel like something deep inside of you is saying, This is the direction. The challenge is that a lot of us have been taught to doubt ourselves. We've been taught how to look outside of ourselves for validations, for answers, and for permission. So when our inner voice speaks, we ignore it, question it, or may even talk ourselves out of it. Spiritual self-trust begins when you start noticing the difference between your true inner knowing and the noise around it. Your inner wisdom usually will feel steady. It does not rush you, it does not shame you, it does not panic, it just simply keeps pointing. You back to what feels honest and what's true to you. So one way that you can start to practice this is to start with small decisions. You do not have to begin with the biggest life choices at first. I probably wouldn't be doing that. Start with simple things. Ask yourself, what do you really need to eat? What is something that is, you know, coming up for you right now? What kind of rest do you need? Whether or not you need to say yes or no to something that you've been practicing, you know, listening to yourself in smaller ways, the easier it becomes to trust yourself in bigger ways. And the way that I like to really trust it is, isn't it my best and highest good to do X, or is it in my best and highest good to do Y? And then I'll tune in and I'll feel where my intuition is guiding me. So again, let's say I'm driving down the road and I'll say, isn't it my best and highest going to take a left? And if wherever I feel my intuitive senses, so before, you want to make sure that you program where are you getting these intuitive hits inside of your body? It can be something as simple as, I feel it in my big toe. That's okay. I feel a tickle in my throat, that's also okay. But learning to trust that self-guidance of where I'm feeling this guidance, that's really one of the first steps to really trusting your, you know, your yourself and your soul's wisdom, your soul's guidance. So again, the more you practice listening to it to yourself in small ways, the easier it will become to trust yourself in bigger ways. Like, should I stay with this partner? Should I take this job? Should I leave the country? You know, I mean, we we are faced with decisions every single day. And some of them are big and some of them are small. So another thing is to remember that is trusting yourself does not mean that you'll never make a mistake. It means that you're learning to honor what you know in the moment you know it. So you have the most information that's available for you right now in that current moment. And the decision that you made was for your best and highest good in that moment. And things can shift, things can change. So sometimes clarity might come after an experience. Sometimes wisdom will come from reflection. It does not mean you failed. It just means that you are learning, you're expanding, you're growing, you're trusting yourself more. So if you're on a spiritual path, self-trust is definitely not going to be optional. You know, it is the foundation, 100%. Without it, every sign, every message, every intuitive nudge that you might feel will get filtered through fear and confusion. With it, you'll begin to feel more grounded, more confident, and connected to your own soul and connected to your higher self. So today I want to leave you with this stop waiting for everyone else to tell you what is true for you. Take one small step toward trusting your own knowing. Your spirit is already speaking.
