Spiritual Awakening 101 Guide
Hello everyone, welcome to our Spiritual Spotlight Series. Today I am joined by Laura Ballet. She is a global top-selling author, a thought energy coach, a life transformation empowerment coach. She is also the head community coach for Ziello Studio, where they offer a courageous leadership program, experience in the metaverse and a global speaker on how to create an empowered life. Thank you so much, Laura, for coming on the Spiritual Spotlight Series. I'm so happy you're here. Thank you.
Speaker 2:We've already had some good energy even before we started recording. I love it.
Speaker 1:So true, I love energy. I love energy healing. I love all things energy. So, laura, can you maybe share your personal journey and what inspired you to become a thought energy coach and also a life transformational empowerment coach?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know that seems a little bit kind of heavy stacked there with these words, but they really are what I do in my life because they are who I am right. So transformational work is what I've embarked on myself Empowerment coaching. I live an empowered life, I strive for this every day and all of this is really based off of thought energy. So many of us don't understand that there is this structure around words and thoughts and feelings and how it all kind of settles in the body and then moves through that matrix of thinking processes. So I really like to bring an awareness into the energy of thought and how we can recalibrate it or design it whatever word fits your. You know your your own energy field and how we can use thought to really create an empowered life.
Speaker 2:And it came to me very young and went to my mom and started talking about some things and thank God I had a mom that just allowed me to flourish. And then a shout out to my brother, chris. He is the creator of the formula that really sparked the science of empowerment and we kind of work mindset energies. We've been doing it since we were kids, not too sure why, but it's just something that's really been in us. We've always been aware of thought and how it can direct us into a positive experience.
Speaker 1:I think that's phenomenal. So, as we can see in her background, that is her book, the scienceowerment. So what motivated you to write the Science of Empowerment and how do you hope it will impact readers?
Speaker 2:Yeah, thank you. That's a great question because again it brings me back to this very unique sibling energetic relationship that my brother and I have. As he was out coaching athletes high-end athletes and using this formula when he brought it into our neuromuscular training facility, I started looking at it and wondering what about regular people like me, a sister, a daughter, a wife just working out in the world, raising two girls? How would this really move through other people's thought processes and then certainly in their daily experiences? So as I started looking at the formula and applying it myself and my family and all of my friends, there was a joke in the kind of flow of this write the book, write the book. It was this mantra for a long time.
Speaker 2:I told my mom at 14, I was going to write a book someday to change the world. It took a very long time to get there, but I really wanted people to have their own experience of what I discovered and really how to live and create and cultivate and certainly sustain a life of empowerment. And so I wrote the book as a masterclass of thought energy. So when readership reads it it really flows as this evolutionary journey. There's nothing about me really, other than the author's page in the book. It is you reading information and knowledge and then really being called to action for your own arrival at that awareness, to your genius and your brilliance. And how now will you move out in the world once you know that you are accountable to this level of knowledge?
Speaker 1:Oh, I love that. So one of the things that's in the book and you can see it in the back of you is this J three equals E. Can you maybe explain this formula and how it helps individuals manifest their desired outcomes?
Speaker 2:Yeah, this is super cool. So this is the J, three equals E formula. Very quickly, the J stands for JECL, which is the acronym of four of the most important people in my brother's life. I'm one of them. I'm the L. The three is the awareness to quantum fields of energy, negative and positive. We inserted neutral in here. Most of us are not skilled to go from negative to positive, so neutrality has become my superpower. I talk about it everywhere, I love it. I equate it as the resting ridge of pausation, a place to just observe the negative, learn what we need to do to get to the positive. And e equals empowerment. So when you apply the five Jekyll principles, your awareness to negative, positive, neutral energies, you now will begin to create an empowered life. That's perfect. So you there.
Speaker 1:I can share the the five principles if you'd like um, let me ask you this question first, because you just brought it up. So how does the concept of neutrality play a role in the empowerment process described in your book?
Speaker 2:Yeah, without it, there's just this intense contrast of negative and positive, happy and sad, good and bad, right All of what we go through. We need an atmosphere, an environment that really gives us permission to explore what an empowered life can be. And how do we move from these negative patterns and these stories and beliefs that cause these habits and behaviors into a more empowered, aware life. And when you apply the five principles and you position yourself into the power seat of choice, which is negative, positive, neutral now you get to really start to move through the process of again creating just empowerment, literally at every experience. So tell us about the principles real quickly. Yeah, so I won't go into them all.
Speaker 2:Of course they're briefly in the book, but then there's the whole science of empowerment book. So we have awareness, willingness, accountability, critical thinking and energy. And just right there, if you think of something that maybe is a challenging situation being presented in your life what am I aware of? What am I willing to do? What is my accountability in this interaction? When we apply the fourth principle critical thinking this dissipates the emotionality which is the charge of pattern, habit and behavior that's usually based from negativity, and it allows us to start really thinking with this self-actualized process, authority to really think, so that I have positive causation for the both of us and that energy negative, positive, neutral, which one am I. And if we stay connected to negativity, then we have no pathway to neutralize it and then certainly no gateway to live a positive life.
Speaker 1:Absolutely. Can you maybe share a success story of someone who has transformed their life using the principles that are outlined in this science of empowerment?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I have lots of them.
Speaker 2:I have over 6,000 hours of coaching, so many stories, but one that I love, one of my favorite a couple that was married for 30 years.
Speaker 2:They were on the verge of divorce and I was coaching the woman and one morning we were having a session and I just asked her really quickly to look at her husband through the eyes of gratitude while we move through the awareness and the willingness, accountability, critical thinking and energy. And for the first time in their adult, grown up life, she just cried with such almost remorse of how she let that go. She just had this demanding personality of you should, you know, provide and all of what their story was. And she went home and said thank you for the first time in like 20 years and it shifted everything, saved their marriage, and I'm still in touch with her and great changes have happened and it's moved into their two adult sons as well. So that's just an example of when you can use these really beautiful, positive, empowering words, appreciation and gratitude and all of this and bring this formula up underneath it and there's a way that the formula has been constructed to create transformation.
Speaker 1:You brought up a really valuable point about being in an attitude of gratitude and really being that energy, that energetic vibration. I think once you're in it, it's an amazing place to be Like you truly appreciate everything that's around you.
Speaker 1:Even I love when I drive to work. I'm always like I get to see the sunrise, I get to see the trees, I get to see I can't even tell you how my dear I see, like it's just. I love that story. That that is amazing. Let me ask you this what are some practical steps that individuals can take to shift from a negative to positive thought patterns and maybe even behaviors?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think, just reminding yourself that for me, I truly believe and science is starting to catch up here that coded in the DNA is this brilliance. There's a genius in every single one of us and if you just allow yourself a moment to have confidence and authenticity to why you are here and your human experience, and allow yourself to just nudge up a little bit, right up level, just a little bit, and in practical terms, it really is bringing an awareness that you are in the power seat of choice. You can choose at any moment to begin to think greater than you feel, which will begin to almost crack that behavior and that pattern that has kept you in a state of stagnation. So, I think, awareness to your potential and your ability, stop doubting it and have fun and explore it and just practice with it and see what happens.
Speaker 1:I love that I mean. That's all valuable, valuable answers. I love all of this. So one of the things you do is a life empowerment coaching. How does that differ from other coaching methods and what unique benefits does it offer?
Speaker 2:Yeah, so I mean life and life coaching is everywhere. Now, right, it's a very saturated environment. It is so many people that I know personally in my network really want to create transformational work. But I think life coaching and again, everyone has a very different pathway and formula and system. But for me it is about bringing an awareness to the potential that really resides within you and do not let the doubt and the fear get in the way. And a lot of well, all of my clients. But when I do interviews I always will tell people suspend the doubt, just suspend the doubt and go into that realm of possibilities. And I think life coaching really that's like a marker that differentiates it, because it is about the 360 view of mind, body and consciousness all together really trying to create that transformation. And when you're coaching someone, you do go into. What music are you listening to? What food are you ingesting? What do you do for self-love? How are you interacting out in the world? So life, empowering knowledge is being coached from that viewpoint that is so true that you bring.
Speaker 1:I like that you really dig in with your clients. It's not just a okay, let me just give you some advice and move on. No, you're truly digging in. What are you eating? What are you consuming what's in your life? Move on. No, you're truly digging in. What are you eating? What are you consuming? What's in your life? How do you love yourself? How do you find that a lot of your clients have a difficult time with truly, you know, resonating that they love themselves and that really feeling into their body and feeling the love that they have?
Speaker 2:Yeah, and this is something um, as a Ziello coach and a shout out to my friend, laura Catan and the founder of Ziello Studios on the Courageous Leadership Program this is really allowing us to go into the body, sensations and how the thought and the body move together. Also at the Heart Institute, I mean, they're mapping out the consciousness of our heart and how it messages even more than the mind. So there's so many beautiful ways to really, I think, support people when they've never known that true relationship with self. And what does loving myself look like?
Speaker 2:And so many people think, if you say I love myself, that somehow this is this egoic statement, that somehow this is this egoic statement. It isn't. It is one of the fundamental, most beautiful personal experiences we can have is to learn and treasure oneself. Without this relationship with ourself, there's no way we can really bring authenticity into any of our other relationships. So, yes, it is a challenge, but we move through it. I love that. I love that. So you're also a thought energy coach. How do it is a challenge but we move through it.
Speaker 1:I love that. I love that. So you're also a thought energy coach. How do you guide individuals to challenge or limited thinking and maybe embrace some new possibilities?
Speaker 2:Yeah, again, this is the beauty and the power of the formula, because we bring awareness to limited thinking and what is around that limited thinking, and then it goes all the way back into why people think the way they think. I'm kind of known for calling us walking algorithms, meaning humans, because we really are. We become these walking algorithms of our parents, our grandparents, our great grandparents, and then, of course, political, school systems, media, all of it. We become this output of information. So I really challenge them to again suspend whatever it is that's keeping you in this flow of repeat and let's start really creating something outside of it, because there's you know's a sacred space. When you're working one on one or in a group or in a Zoom call or a podcast, anyone listening. Suspend that limited thinking and know that you can actually tune into the current of an unlimited mindset. Just explore what that can mean for you.
Speaker 1:That's such a valid point You've brought up a couple of times, like just kind of move the doubt and the fear to the side, like how do you like how does somebody move the doubt and the fear to the side, because I think for some people that's very challenging?
Speaker 2:Be willing to do it Right. I'm aware I don't do it. What are you willing to do? Ok, I'm going to move it to the side for a minute. Coach, coach, beautiful. Now we're exercising that accountability.
Speaker 2:We're not saying you're going to be able to keep it over there, of course, yeah, no absolutely Right, and this is why life empowerment coaching is such a beautiful experience and an empowering experience. It gives us space and time to create skills, applicable knowledge that really becomes more than information and just a reminder when that doubt kicks in, when that pattern right. All of a sudden you feel an argument coming on or you feel that reactionary pattern. Wait a minute, I'm aware I'm getting ready to repeat. What am I willing to do? Suspend the pattern and ask someone a different question. What is your intention? As we enter into this conversation, my dear, I don't want to fight anymore. How about you? I'm accountable for what I've contributed and I'm really working on recalibrating this pattern. Would you be willing to try something new with me? Critical thinking, less emotion. Now what are we doing? Neutralizing the negative pattern formula right there, in four seconds.
Speaker 1:That was beautiful and I have to tell you just the, the energy that comes in while you say, that is just amazing and it just a simple question of what is your intention in this conversation and just willing to be able to take accountability for your own actions and also, you know, maybe sending up some boundaries for how you let people treat you. You know.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, absolutely. And again I mean we're having so much fun and moving out of high energy, but this is really just kind of flying three branches at the moment. But there's that oak tree and those roots and there's so much to it. But really anyone that's willing to take in this information and apply it now will become knowledgeable on some skills that they picked up and they can start applying it. Even just asking yourself negative, positive, neutral which one am I? Even in the quietness of your mind, wherever you're moving in throughout your day, and you will start to see that that part of you in there, that higher thinking part of you, wants to show up more for yourself and others.
Speaker 1:Absolutely. So maybe what are some common misconceptions people have about empowerment?
Speaker 2:people have about empowerment yes, that it is commonplace, that it is very easy, everybody can do it, everyone can coach it.
Speaker 2:There's a quality to living an empowered life that there's a discipline needed, there's a structure and a thought process around empowering yourself and certainly working towards empowering others. It is absolutely the coolest journey you will ever take. It is loaded with energy and possibility and knowledge. But there's a discipline to it and I think the misconception is people think I can read a book, I can go for six months of coaching, I can go into a seminar, get all pumped up and come out and all will be well. We haven't arrived to that level of quantum leaping as individuals yet where we can literally take a thought and transform the actual energy of the space. We're working on it, but for now we have this amazing mind that sits within the brain and we can use this mind, with thought energy, to begin to create a new language of empowerment. So I think, be willing to be disciplined in the application of creating an empowered life and then you are ready to go 100% agree with you.
Speaker 1:It's almost like when you do healing work, like the healing really is never finished, like there's always deeper and deeper and deeper layers to go. So I think that's I like that. Be disciplined in your practice and it's probably going. You need to be disciplined for the rest of your life, you know? Absolutely, yeah, I like that. So how does your courageous leadership program and the metaverse enhance the experience of personal and professional growth for participants?
Speaker 2:This is a great question and I love this. I can't wait for Laura to know that It'll be so excited. It really allows us to embrace vulnerabilities and it allows us to elevate into new perspectives that we wouldn't necessarily come upon if we were not in this very thoughtful, courageous leadership program that she has created. It's an eight-week program. It takes us through a process, but it really allows you to be vulnerable with people that don't have a judgment or an observation right away on you, because we're all coming together as avatars in this immersive environment and we're really showing up with pure energy and emotion, ready to ignite again those new perspectives on how can I implement more courage in my life and more curiosity so that I live a more fulfilled and creative existence. And when you really bring all of this together, this alchemy of this style of program, you become empowered.
Speaker 1:I think that's beautiful. So let me ask you this, as a global speaker who has what has been your most memorable experience or audience reaction while discussing empowerment in the J3 formula.
Speaker 2:Oh, my God, this is such a great question and my brain is already going to do. I'm going to say that last night I did a two hour live event with two of my favorite women in the world, and there was one particular participant that was very active in her expression of the information and she said this by far was the best podcast I've ever listened to. There were no spaces that were not informative, and I loved that, because that meant that she showed up with full receptivity and embraced it in and actually was going to leave the podcast more empowered, and so that was pure service, which is why I do what I do, and I felt that, you know, someone's life has just just tweaked a little bit for the better, and what a beautiful feeling.
Speaker 1:What a powerful testimony to you know, you and the other two speakers and everything like that. That's phenomenal, like there are no spaces and a two hour you know program, no spaces, and she took tangible tools away from that it was amazing.
Speaker 2:I saw and I she was really filling in, and many others, but I recognized her language and at the end I said to the two there was two hosts, their sisters, and they're just beautiful, and I said, did you see Maka? And Karen said yes, and I'm like no spaces. That is so empowering for us and such a gift that meant that she felt full and something that really moved her and it was it probably up, you know, right now is my live real time, seeing how it's affecting someone, one of my favorite, favorite people that I don't know, and but she was there and a part of that moment.
Speaker 1:I love that. Thank you so much for sharing that before I ask you the last question, um, if anyone is interested in learning more about you, what is the best place for them to go to?
Speaker 2:Yeah, they can go to the website wwwthescienceofempowermentcom. If in the book is on Amazon there's an area um, uh, email box that I have. People all over the globe such as this, after a podcast, send me a question. Please get the book because it will transform your mindset and it will empower your daily experiences and it will give you knowledge to then be in service for others and then we create this beautiful synergy out in the collective global family. But any book and certainly the website, and very quickly for anyone, you can just read the website and it will uplevel your intelligence. It was written in a very specific way and there's a copious amount of knowledge to be gained just from visiting the website 100% agree.
Speaker 1:So what are your future goals for your work and how do you plan to continue spreading the message of empowerment globally?
Speaker 2:Thank you, yeah, I'm starting to move into the speaking circuit on the next level. It's all coming around my field so I'm really getting ready to do that and really close to my heart. I have an anti bullying book that I'm working on. I have a children's book to teach them about the formula and the energies that's in them. But I really want to work with our youth. I want to get them very much at the beginning. I'm looking for someone out in the world that has like a Montessori school where we can implement a program. That has like a Montessori school where we can implement a program the science of empowerment right from like nursery school, kindergarten up, and really see what happens to those human beings that are exposed to. Knowing their full potential is within their own asking.
Speaker 1:And just think if you were able to implement that and how many conscious beings that are of service and an integrity and truly being shifted into more of a positive mindset just by doing this work, how much of an impact they'll do on the world.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and it really is just to create right sparks of light, and I, when I say light, I mean positivity. So balance out the negativity. That is needed, the contrast is needed, but we'd like to maybe just tip the scale a little bit in our favor well, laura, thank you so much for coming on spiritual spotlight series.
Speaker 1:It truly was amazing to speak to you and I look forward to speaking to you again, thank you.
